National Disability Employment Awareness Month includes a nationwide campaign that raises awareness about disability employment issues. This also celebrates the many contributions of America’s workers with disabilities, past and present. The theme for this year, which marks 70 years since the first observance, is “My Disability is One Part of Who I Am.”

At work, it’s what people can do that matters. The Campaign for Disability Employment is a collaborative effort to promote positive employment outcomes for people with disabilities by encouraging employers and others to recognize the value and talent these employees bring to the workplace. Now is the time to celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities.
