Your donations can help OCES assist older adults and individuals with disabilities who are in need! Frequently, people encounter situations that can seriously jeopardize their ability to maintain their independence. When public funding falls short, we rely on your donations to support our community, your neighbors, in their time of need.
OCES provides in-home, community-based services and support to individuals to help them maintain their independence and remain at home. Your contributions support services like homemakers, home health aides, home-delivered and congregate meals, laundry and food shopping. OCES also uses your donations to assist people in emergency situations. For example, with your generous contribution OCES could purchase life-sustaining medications, food, heat or partial furnace replacement or repair.
OCES is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit corporation; your donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
November 27, 2018 is #GivingTuesday. Thanks to your generosity our campaign last year, which ran during November and December, was an amazing success. This year we’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 for our Emergency Funds Program, which helps meet the need of at-risk low income older adults and individuals with disabilities who are in a crisis or emergency circumstance that threatens either their health and/or living situation.
Your donations will help heat a home, or purchase food, or medicine, of provide emergency assistance when someone faces an unexpected challenge. But more than that, you’re helping our consumers maintain their independence, dignity and well-being. We are grateful.
